New TV shows coming in May

In the first months of the year 2020, we have seen our television screens been filled with the best series releases: the new seasons of Sex Education, Casa de Papel, Elite, Ozark, Westworld, or the premiere of  Vis a Vis: the Oasis, The New Pope, and Locke & Key. We don't know about you, but we're watching a lot more TV right now. If you're anything like us, get ready because new TV shows are coming this month of May! Let's start!

Hollywood (Netflix)

Ryan Murphy will start his comeback with a new TV show: Hollywood. Murphy is the mastermind behind American Horror Story, Glee, Pose, and The Politician. He has won six Emmy Awards for his work over the years, and Hollywood could possibly make him earn his next award.

The TV show follows a group of actors and directors who try to succeed at any cost during Hollywood's golden age, just after World War II.

The cast is stacked with Murphy favorites including Laura Harrier, David Corenswet, Samara Weaving, Holland Taylor, Patti LuPone and Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory.

Release date: May 1.

Space Force (Netflix)

This is the great comedy of the year that comes to Netflix at the end of the month with the return of Steeve Carrell, accompanied by some celebrities from the small screen. This time, we will see him in the Space Force Regiment: the new American body launched by Donald Trump and dedicated to the control of the space force.

Release date: May 31.

Howard's End (Amazon)

The E.M. Forster from 1910 became a hit movie in 1992. Now, it will hit the small screen as an excellent four-episode miniseries with the interpretation of Hayley Atwell. The TV Show relates the story of three families from England's upper, middle, and lower classes at a time when Britain's social barriers were beginning to break down.

Release date: May 29.

Picnic at Hanging Rock (Amazon)

Picnic at Hanging Rock is another novel that became a miniseries with the interpretation of Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones). It tells the story of three girls who disappear on a school trip in Australia in 1900. The mystery of their disappearance is fascinating.

Release date: May 25.

Prop Culture (Disney+)

Prop Culture is a Disney+ documentary series made up of 8 episodes. Through this TV show, you can follow the footsteps of a collector who has the opportunity to enter the archives of Disney and discover some of his most emblematic objects and creations.
