Using Huawei

The battery saving method of Huawei is very aggressive, since it deactivates some basic functionalities such as the GPS locator or notifications of our app while it is in the background. In order to use the app correctly, try these solutions:

Disable automatic battery management

Go to Settings > Applications > Safe365 > Battery and, on the one hand, turn off the High Power Consumption warning and, on the other hand, access Start applications and disable the option to manage it automatically. In the video below we show you how to do it:

Ignore battery optimization (EMUI 8.0 and 5.0 version)

Go to Configuration or settings > Ignore battery optimization > Ignore battery optimization > All apps > Safe365. Once you are in the application list, select “All applications”, in the upper right arrow, look for Safe365 and click “Allow”. We show you how to do it in the video below:

Allow notifications from Safe365

Go to Configuration or settings > Notifications & status bar > Notifications management. Then, select Safe365 and click on “Allow notifications”. Make sure also that all the options below are activated (in blue) and that in Notifications on the lock screen “Show” is selected. We show you how to do it in the video below:

Activate ‘High Accuracy’ location mode

1. Go to Configuration or settings > Use GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks
2. Activate the GPS position
3. Chose the ‘High Accuracy’ location mode.

Add Safe365 to your secure apps “whitelist” (for old Huawei versions)
